- This modification to the previous solicitation notice posted on 5 Feb. 2013. This a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Solicitation to provide Healthcare Housekeeping Services in all direct-and non direct patient care and healthcare-related settings in multiple Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) located on Fort Leavenworth, KS to include Munson Army Health Center (MARC) MTF and the collective MTFs in the health service area of MAHC, Fort Leavenworth, KS. Healthcare housekeeping services may be required in any area under the jurisdiction of the MAHC MTF commander. The North American Industry Classification System (NAlCS)Code for this solicitation is 561720. This solicitation will be awarded using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation criteria. This requirement will be an 8(a) competitive set-aside for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) master contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract Line Items (CLINS). Healthcare housekeeping services are required for 60 months starting 1 Sep 2013 through 31 Aug 2018. The solicitation and subsequent contract will include contract line items (CLINS) for 30 days for phase-in period (base ordering period only) and four 12-month ordering periods, and one 11-month ordering period (total 60 months). Individual task orders will clearly describe MAHC MTF-specific healthcare housekeeping requirements and services to be performed. All elements of the RFP shall be submitted by the Offeror with a proposal no later than the date/time shown in block 8 of the Standard Form (SF) 1449, Solicitation/Contract Order for Commercial Items. Services include healthcare housekeeping services; collection of regulated medical waste (RMW); and collection and distribution of linen. The square feet (SF) for cleaning of each MTF is varied; however, the estimated SF for MAHC MTF, and the collective MTFs located in the health service area of MAHC MTF, currently receiving services under the existing contract is 124,288 SF. Floor plans available upon request. A pre-proposal conference registration/sign-in will convene at 8:30am on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, MAHC MTF, Bldg 343, 550 Pope Ave., Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027 (specific room location TBD) with a follow-on site visit/walk-thru of MAHC MTFs immediately following the pre-proposal conference. The pre-proposal conference duration is anticipated from 9:00am-2:00pm, which will consist of briefings from the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer Representative. The site visit walk-thru duration for March 6, 2013 is anticipated from 2:00pm - 5:00 pm. It is recommended that interested vendors and prospective offerors download the solicitation prior to attending the pre-proposal conference.
