Description

Project 636-13-112, ECMS Upgrade for the VA Medical Center in Grand Island, NE Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the demolition of existing building controls and installation of a new web-based building control system in Building 1 & Building 7 located at the Grand Island VA Medical Center, 2201 N Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska 68803. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-B-0598 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 19, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held sometime during the week of February 4-8, 2013. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of site visit). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Monday, March 18, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be approximately 270 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
