Description

Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing "Preventive Maintenance (PM) on government owned Anesthesia Equipment at the New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus located at 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018. List of equipment include four (4) Narcomed GS, SN #13698, 13699, 13700 & 13701 and two (2) Apollo machines, S# ARZK0026 & ARZK0027. The vendor will be responsible for: providing all labor, materials, equipment, travel, parts and supervision for full preventive maintenance, full comprehensive coverage and emergency repair. PM includes cleaning, calibrating, adjusting, replacement of worn or defective parts. Vendor must be fully qualified to work on these equipment items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the standard size is $19.0 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J (Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment). Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email or fax) and must be received not later than February 14, 2013 at 10:00AM. Email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov and Fax: 718-741-4722. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811219. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
