- THE FOLLOWING IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY: Refer to the SOW and solicitation for requirements. 1) Do we need to provide a security fence? if so what height is required? How many gates are required? No fence is required 2) Do we need to provide a stabilized construction entrance? Current configuration is acceptable. Contractor responsible for any damage to the site. 3) Are there any special truck cleaning requirements? Contractor is responsible for general site cleanliness. Debris/dirt is not to leave the site. 4) Are we responsible for providing 24 hour security? Yes. 5) Are we required to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week? Work hours are 0700 to 1900 daily, 7 days per week, unless otherwise directed or approved by the COR 6) There is no line item in the bid for the clean fill (2.6.6 & 3.2.8) mentioned in the scope. In which bid item is this to be included or will they be bid item added? Not a bid item. To be provided by others. However management of the stockpile is a contract requirement. 7) There is mention on the bid form and scope of transport of the crushed concrete but it does not mention to where it will be relocated. Is this meant to be left at Riis Park or be sent off site? If off site, please indicate distance to drop area and/or location. Contractor is to remove concrete (crushed or not) for beneficial reuse. Location to be provided through the contractor. 8) The scope indicates 48,000 CY at a rate of 1,500 CY per day for C and D (3.2.1). The proposal form indicates 60 days at 2,500 CY/Day (5.1.1 and Bid Form). Please explain and clarify. 1000 CYPD from RoW and 1500 CYPD from PPDR is the estimated INPUT from debris collection missions; 2500 CYPD is the estimated OUTPUT via Transportation and Disposal (T&D) 9) While mentioned in the scope, the boardwalk timbers (5.1.4) are not delineated on the bid form. quote mark Their receipt, staging, and load-out for salvage and/or disposal is required (e.g. salvage and/or disposal is to be provided by ECC) quote mark (3.2.5). Who is responsible for sizing and loading of timbers? If we are, in which bid item are they to be included or will the bid form be revised? Salvaged timbers may be handled differently than disposed of timbers, If we are responsible for sizing who determines the means and methods for this operation- cutting via saw or shear/grapple? Performed by others. Contractor responsible for final disposition of timbers. 10) Will this contract be responsible for picking up concrete rubble, or will all the concrete rubble be delivered to Riis Park by others?
