Description
The Army Contracting Command, AATD Contracting Division (CCAM-RDT), intends to negotiate on a noncompetitive basis with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a new Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for engineering support services in support of a Government owned, SNC developed Helicopter Autonomous Landing System (HALS) ground, simulation and flight tests in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government is currently conducting flight test evaluations involving various rotary wing aircraft sensors. The Government owns a prototype SNC HALS unit and requires SNC engineering, technical data, and software support to support integration of the prototype HALS sensor into a UH-60 aircraft and support ground, simulation and flight tests. No request for quotes/proposals will be posted. Interested sources may identify interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will review and consider all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this notice. The Government retains the sole discretion on the decision whether or not to conduct a competitive competition based upon information received in response to this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
