- Pre-solicitation Notice W912DR-13-R-0014: This solicitation will be advertised as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562119 (Other Waste Collection).The intent of this contract is to have the contractor stage two forty-yard trash bins at the USACE Debris Removal Unit Office located at 1125 Water Street, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20003. The trash bins will then be used by the Debris Team to stage the debris removed from the river. When the bins are full a Debris Team personnel will contact the contractor to request the bins be dumped and returned. Contractor is responsible for supplying the two forty-yard bins necessary to stage the debris. Also, the contractor is responsible for the equipment and dump site necessary to dump the bins when they are full. There will be a total of 120 bins dumps for the year however, in case of large debris events, such as storms, snow melt off and other events causing large amounts of debris, an option for 50 extra bin dumps for that year may be needed. This requirement must be provided in strict accordance with the statement of work included in the request for proposal (RFP) that can be obtained from www.fbo.gov. Only those vendors who can provide the requirement EXACTLY as stated in the statement of work may provide a proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. You must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database to receive a government contract award. You may register with the SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to sharla.r.andrews@usace.army.mil or fax to (410) 962-2001. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 01 February 2013, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System (www.fbo.gov). To familiarize vendors with the newly released FBO system, please download the Vendor Guide found here (http://www.nab.usace.army.mil/EBS/FBO_Vendor_Guide.pdf). Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation/amendment will be the Internet only. This solicitation/amendment will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted.
