Description
Amendment W91ZLK-13-T-0048 0002 is issued to provide clarifications to the Automated Vertical Carousel File System specifications, under section 2. Requirements- Automated Vertical Carousel File System. The below clarifications are number for easy reference. The result of the below clarifications revises the specifications, in accordance with Attachment 3, attached. The closing date of the solicitation is amended to read January 31, 2013, 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Please SUBMIT YOUR QUOTATIONS to Ms. Sowa at the Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Tennant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Quotations must be submitted via email to: susan.l.sowa.civ@mail.mil. Quotations must be signed, dated, and received by the closing date and time. For questions concerning this Request for Quotations contact Ms. Susan Sowa, Contracting Officer via email @ susan.l.sowa.civ@mail.mil. Additional questions must be received no later than January 23, 2013, 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Clarification 14: Modify Requirements 2.a. to read: Change file capacity to 2,300 L.F.I. minimum, 2,500 L.F.I. maximum. Clarification 15: Modify Requirements 2.c. to read: File size needs to be letter (legal size is not required). The existing files are hanging. The file system shall be designed for hanging file folders, and top tab labeling. Clarification 16: Modify Requirements 2.g. to read: The system shall have a transaction counter that shall be configured, so the files are accessed in the standing position. Clarification 17: Add Requirements 2.s. to read: The contractor shall provide a floor plan of the room showing the layout of the file system within the space to insure there is not interference with the door swing, proper entry egress, and access to light switch, thermostat, and adequate floor space in front of the system for the operator. Clarification 18: Add Requirement 2.t. to read: The system shall be constructed of sufficient strength to support itself fully loaded to capacity, without its frame of shelves yielding, bending, tilting or jamming.
