Description
This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23), located at 2501 W. 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, intends to solicit proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified businesses for award of a fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for Professional Wheelchair Seating and Assessment Services for the Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS), which includes the Omaha, Grand Island and Lincoln Nebraska locations. The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621340, Offices of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, and Audiologists and the size standard is $7.0 MIL. The Government anticipates one award on a best value basis. Solicitation document VA263-13-R-0218 is anticipated to be available January 13, 2013 or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Proposals shall be submitted by Friday, January 20, 2013 at 3:00 pm central standard time by email only. All necessary solicitation documents will be available on/after Monday, January 14, 2013, on the FBO system. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the FBO website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 23. Prospective offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the FBO website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a proposal, offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work, terms, and conditions of the requirement(s). Offerors who are unable to access or open uploaded attachments may contact the Contracting Officer to obtain copies. Questions from potential offerors are encouraged to resolve any ambiguities; inquiries shall be in writing only and addressed to John Becker via email john.becker3@va.gov. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (SAM), and FAR 4.12, Representations and Certifications, prospective firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) database prior to award.
