Description

Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Salisbury VA Medical Center, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources for full preventative maintenance services on Sterrad NX sterilization equipment. The equipment is manufactured by Advanced Sterilization Products (a subsidiary of Ethicon, Inc.) Interested parties to this notice must be a trained, authorized, and certified by Advanced Sterilization Products Services, Inc. to perform these services. An annual service agreement is being sought with 2 additional option years. The Sterrad NX equipment (quantity 2) is located at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. The service agreement required is for full coverage Monday thru Friday 7AM to 7PM and includes the following: Replace the vacuum pump oil; Replace the oil mist filter; Print the last cycle run from the Cycle History. Verify that the date and time are correct and adjust if necessary; Reset the PM Counter; Replace the chamber plastics; Replace the door O-ring; Replace the chamber H2O2 lens; Replace the H2O2 lamp lens and O-ring; Replace the delivery valve; Replace the delivery system inlet valve filter; Replace the air pump tubing; Zero the Baratrons; Replace the vacuum pump oil; Replace the oil mist filter; Replace the catalytic converter; Replace the HEPA filter on the vent valve; Perform an LFPS2 test at 800 motor (500 W); Perform a Leak Test; Drain and replace the oil again; Replace the door, chamber, vaporizer, and condenser thermistors; Calibrate the temperatures using precision resistors; Check the H2O2 lamp voltage and make sure it goes from -1 to 0; Perform an H2O2 neutral density calibration; Replace the air filter on the bottom; Replace the cassette disposal box; Clean the print-head on the printer; Run a Standard cycle with the chamber empty; and Perform a temperature verification. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219, Size Standard: $6.5M, and the Classification code is J065. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation.
