- Diagram Photo #2 Photo #1 This requirement is to purchase C-130 Loadmaster Crashworthy Seats (CWS) for installation on C-130 Hercules aircraft. The acquisition is a 100% competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside in accordance with FAR 6.206 and FAR 6.302-5(b) (6), all responsible Service Disabled Veteran Own Small Businesses may submit a proposal. Quantities: Group A Kits, First Articles, Production 159 each, 25 ea and 14 each production Installs, 3 each for Simulator/Trainer, Options I 1-65 ea, Option II 1-5 ea, Option III 1-17 ea, Option IV 1-12 ea, NSN 1560K0115301A,; Quantities: Group B Kits, First Articles, Production 159 each, 25 ea and Option I 1-65 ea, Option II 1-5 ea, Option III 1-17 ea, Option IV 1-12 ea, 14 each production Installs, NSN 1560K0115301B. Delivery schedule is preliminary expected to be 4 months ARO after First Article approval at the rate of 5 to 10 per month for each kit. First Articles are expected to be delivered 150 to 180 months after award. FMS requirement to Norway included in both Options. Ship to is FY2260. Distribution Code C applies. The CWSs shall be manufactured and/or build in accordance with the government Furnished Technical Data package Level III drawings and a Statement of Work for First Articles, Group A and Group B production Kits, spares kits, Technical Orders and a Technical Data package. All manufacturing data shall be stated in the drawing package or SOW: sizes, dimensions, form, fit and functions, predominant materials, etc. A spreadsheet of the applicable CLINs (note this is not final), copy of the drawings and Statement of work will be published as early notification to interested parties. Offerors are encouraged to register for receiving notifications for solicitation, revisions and amendments and to check FBO site prior to proposal submission. The solicitation will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you desire to obtain a copy, you must go through Fed Biz Opps to do so. No telephone requested will be honored. All questions shall be submitted to the Procuring Contracting Officer identified herein. Estimated release date of RFP is Jan to Feb 2013. The solicitation document contains information that has a military or space application. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
