- Solicitation Number: W91ZLK-13-T-0038 PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc full-on site maintenance of OPTIMA5300DV, Polyscience Chiller, AS93PLUS and ICP Software. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order to PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton CT 06484-4794. The United States Army has a requirement for full-on site maintenance services on the OPTIMA5300DV, Polyscience Chiller, AS93PLUS and ICP Software for a base and two option years. PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. is the sole available source for full-on site maintenance services on the OPTIMA5300DV, Polyscience Chiller, AS93PLUS and ICP Software, as these systems are equipped with proprietary technology. PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. does not have any distributors, or re-sellers of this proprietary service. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Business Size Standard is $19,000,000.00. Interested parties may identify their interest in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 11:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time, 28 December 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
