- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 811219 (size standard $19 Millions) that can provide all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, travel, and supervision for the calibration, preventive, and/or corrective maintenance services to government-owned equipment listed below: Manufacturer: Sebia Equipment Name: Capillarys 2 Serial Number: 2706 Manufacturer: Sebia Equipment Name: Hydrasys 2 with Scan Serial Number: 323 Interested companies should submit an email to stephanie.keo@va.gov outlining their company's capability. Firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, small disabled veteran owned businesses, etc.). All responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 PM CST on December 27, 2012. Fax or telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice is to help the VA medical center in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this request for information notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award or to be added to prospective bidders list to receive a copy of the solicitation.
