Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) intends to solicit for a hydrosurgery system. The anticipated posting date for the proposed solicitation (RFQ VA244-13-Q-0185) is December 20, 2012, and the anticipated closing date is December 27, 2012. The solicitation will require that the hydrosurgery system be delivered to the LVAMC not later than January 14, 2013. It is anticipated that the successful awardee will be the vendor that provides the overall best value to the Government, taking both technical factors and price into account. The technical evaluation factors will be: 1.Technical capability 2.Past performance 3.Socio-economic status These factors are listed in descending order of importance and, when combined, are significantly more important than price. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 339113, and the solicitation will not be set aside for small business concerns. However, small businesses are encouraged to submit quotations for consideration, noting that preference will be given for socio-economic status when the preceding two technical evaluation criteria are of equal quality with those of a large business.
