- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lakewood, CO has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number F13PS00036. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #2005-61B, effective October 15, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. This brand name or equal requirement consists of: Line item numbers 00010, 00020, 00030, 00040, 00050, and 00060. 00010: TruBlue 555 level submersible transducer w/ molded cable seal (12 each) 00020: 20 ft 853 vented polyurethane cable (27 each) 00030: Technicians communication cable (8 each) 00040: TruBlue585 Conductivity Temperature Level submersible transducer w/molded cable seal (15 each) 00050: Calibration solution 1000 uS 500 ml (5 each) 00060: Delivery The salient (essential) physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an equal item must meet to be acceptable for award: The basic requirements of a submersible transducer for WTR shall have: Submersible Transducer with molded cable seal Vented Gage Sensor Stainless Steel Construction Level Accuracy +/- 0.1%FS 8MB data storage Fully sealed design with 5-year permanent battery Calibrated for 11.5 feet (FS) TruWare Software Compatible Location: US Fish and Wildlife Service-Region 6 134 Union Blvd Lakewood, CO 80228 Please submit your quote on the attached SF-1449 or company letterhead with all pertinent point of contact information including CCR Cage Code, DUNS No., Tax Id No., and business size/type. In addition, your quote should provide unit price, total price, delivery date, and FOB Destination. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/request for quote solicitation. Offers must be received by 4:00 pm central time, 4 January 2012, at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 17705 212th Ave NW, Berthold, ND 58718. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non responsive in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
