- The U. S. Army ACC-APG, Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) has an ongoing requirement for Omnibus Program, Engineering and Technical Support (OPETS) services across the JPEO-CBD Enterprise. The JPEO-CBD is the Joint Services advanced developer for research (6.4/6.5), development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) equipment and medical countermeasures. The JPEO-CBD Headquarters, its Directorates and nine (9) Joint Project Managers (JPMs) lead, manage and direct the acquisition and fielding of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) defense; detection and reconnaissance systems; individual/collective protection/decontamination systems; information management systems; medical devices; drugs and vaccines; medical countermeasures; nuclear/radiological systems and installation/force protection systems. Located throughout the United States, each JPM Office leverages talent and expertise from across the services under a single Milestone Decision Authority to provide the best CBRN technology, equipment and medical countermeasures for all DoD Personnel. Additionally, technical support services will also be required to support the addition of Nuclear and Radiological defense to its product and research and development portfolios. The total value for all task orders awarded under this IDIQ is $495M.
