Description
Purchase Equipment and Supplies for a Tuberculosis Infection Control Study in Thailand 2013-54733 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Procurement and Grants Office (PGO) intends to award a sole source contract, in accordance with FAR 13, using simplified acquisition procedures to E for L International Company Limited at 432, 434, 436, 438 Rajavithi Road, Bang Yi Khan, Bang Phlat, Bangkok 10700, Thailand, to purchase and distribute Quantiferon Gold Blood Collection Tubes, Quantiferon ELISA reagent kits, and protable incubators in Thailand. The Quantiferon Blood Collection Tubes must 100 tubes per package, stroe at 4-25 degreed C, and with shelf life of at least 1 year upon receiveing. The Quantiferon ELISA reagents kits (4 standard points) must have 52 tests per package, store at 2-8 degreed C, and with shelf lift of at 1 year upon receiving. The contractor/distributor must have an import permit specifically for Thailand, and who can assist with logistics related to customs for CDC to receive the equipment/supplies in Thailand. The contractor/distributor must provides storage, distribution,a nd on-site technical assitance. The contractor/distributor with extensive history of working in Thailand with various public health partners, and having these historical working relationships and postive past experience will be beneficial to the Government. E for L International Compnay Limited has been identified as the only organization having the requisite, un-biased, knowledge and extensive experience to provide the equipment/supplies to support the Tuberculosis Infection Control Study in Thailand. The performance period will be 12 months. The North American Industry Classification Code is 423450. No Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. This advertisement ends in 7 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(A)(1). Any interested companies are welcome to submit their qualification and ability to provide the specified services via e-mail, CTTucker@cdc.gov. Please include reference number 2013 54733. A determination not to compete based on responses received, and to proceed with a noncompetitive award is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Please respond by 28 Dec 2012.
