- **THIS ANNOUNCMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR 8(A) CONTRACTORS ONLY** In accordance with FAR 5.2, this announcement serves as a pre-solicitation notice only and not a solicitation. The Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC), Office of Acquisitions, intends to issue a solicitation to seek an eligible 8(a) contractor who will provide support and consulting services to assist the SEC Corporation Finance Division in fully documenting and improving internal processes associated with the filing review program, internal controls, associated IT support systems, and internal Office of Information Technology (CFIT) and Office of Management (OM) processes. The period of performance for this procurement shall consist of a 6-month base period with four (4), one (1) year options. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Parts 15 and 19. The Government anticipates award of a labor-hour contract. This procurement is set aside 100% for 8(a) eligible contractors. The contract will be issued to an 8(a) eligible firm offering the best value proposal to provide the services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611- Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, and the business size standard is $14 Million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall require the submission of a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. The actual solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://fedbizopps.gov/. The response due date and time for proposals will be clearly stated in the solicitation document. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFP as well as any updates to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submittal of a proposal. The solicitation will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities on or about January 18, 2013.
