- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide bulk liquid Sodium Hypochlorite solution (12.5 Trade Percent Available Chlorine)for Washington Aqueduct's two Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Dalecarlia WTP and McMillan WTP, as a disinfectant This requirement NAICS is 325180 and the size standard is 1000 employees. It is currently set-aside for small businesses only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractor's requests for this solicitation must be performed through FBO. Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors; you must be registered with the System for Award Management Database (SAM) to receive a government contract award. You may register with SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Proposals including One (1) CD ROM can be submitted in a sealed envelope by mail or hand carried to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, ATTN: Melissa S. Nold, 10 South Howard Street, 7th floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201 2530. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation/amendment will be the Internet only. This solicitation/amendment will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted.
