Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Health Statistics intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Purchase Order to the Apelon Inc. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire the services for enhancement and support of Apelon Distributed Terminology server software, to enable use for maintenance and updating of ICD-10-M-CD-ROM. The anticipated award date is December 19, 2012. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification, as well as, a capability statement to the contracting office by 12:00 p.m. eastern standard time on December 18, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed actions based on responses to this notice is solely within its discretion. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
