- Performance Work Based Statement provides detailed specifications needed for the Expansion Project. This is a Sources Sought notice for the Shiprock and Gallup Service Unit areas of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources for providing consultation and technical assistance services in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS) Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Initiatives and does not commit the government to issue a solicitation or make an award. Indian Health Service (IHS) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is responsible for providing federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. The applicable NAICS code is 541618, which applies to Consultation Services. Provided herein is a brief summary of required service: The provision of the requested consultation and technical assistance services shall be in support of the IHS Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Initiatives in the Shiprock Service Unit -community education about prevention and resources, victim advocacy services, and the Shiprock Sexual Assault Response Team; and the Gallup Service Unit - initial assessment and development of Rape Crisis and Advocacy services. All services supplied by contractor under the terms of the contract shall be performed in compliance with all requirements and regulations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and Privacy Act (PA). Reference the attached Performance Based Work Statement for further guidance on specifications needed for this project. Evaluation Criteria: 1. Must be located in Farmington, New Mexico and Gallup, New Mexico due to the referral needs from Shiprock Service Unit, Northern Navajo Medical Center and Gallup Service Unit, Gallup Indian Medical Center. 2. Available staff members and qualifications to meet demand of the performance based work statement listed herein. 3. Experience in establishing a relationship with subgroups including the Navajo Nation Police Department, Farmington, NM and Gallup, NM Police Department, Federal Bureau Investigation, United States Department of Justice, New Mexico Coalition Against Sexual Assault, local health care organizations and tribal judicial systems. 4. Experience in working with Native Americans & Tribal Organizations.
