Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Michelet Audige, Maintenance Engineer, 443-395-1424 Michelet.audige.civ@mail.mil Manufacturing of AN/AVS-7(10)B HUD Assemblies and Sub-assemblies This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for manufacturing of AN/AVS-7 (10)B with NSN: 5895-01-577-5425, HUD assemblies and subassemblies ( flat panel, NSN: 5895-01-5893636, NSN: 5895-01-5893636). The HUD facilitates helicopter pilots to use the Aviator's Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) goggles during flight operations. The HUD supplies critical operational information to the pilot superimposed over the ANVIS image. The HUD diminishes the requirement for the pilot and co-pilot to look at the flight instruments, thus allowing them to concentrate on scanning outside of the cockpit. The U.S. Army is seeking to identify vendors with the capability to supply an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract over a two year period. The vendors must have extensive knowledge of the ANVIS HUD system and also be able to provide at least thirty (30) ISDC per month. The U.S. Army will not provide any test equipment or facilities for this effort. Any interested sources must send the following information, NLT 28 December 2012, to CECOM LCMC PRD Directorate, ATTN: RDER-PRA-CA (Michelet Audige), Bldg 6007, APG, MD 21005 or email to Michelet.audige.civ@mail.mil: Identification of the contractor as a Large or Small business. If a small business, please identify as an 8(a), HUB Zone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past performance for these items. The Contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same items for which they have manufacturing experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that they possess, or shall possess, adequate experience, knowledge, production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable them, or their subcontractors, to support this item. All technical questions should be addressed to Michelet Audige (443) 395-1424, email address michelet.audige.civ@mail.mil
