- Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the Strategic Foresight / Alternate Futures Training requirement for the US Department of Veteran Affairs. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought shall not be construed as a guarantee to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The VA Office of Acquisition Operations / Office of Procurement Services (OAO/OPS) is seeking educational and training services to include the following: - Strategic Foresight/Alternate Futures Training Training is required to meet the following criteria: - Must be provided under an accredited curriculum - Must be provided for up to 20 personnel - Must be located in the Washington, DC area - Must include long-range planning - Must contain an introduction to foresight tools and thinking - Must contain an in-depth discussion of change management techniques - Must provide lessons for improving analytic tradecraft - Must comply with the attached Statement of Work (SOW), dated 13 December 2012. Offerors should identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement by submitting literature of their services, curriculum, staff or personnel, training experience, training facilities, and general costs (if available). Offerors should include a cover letter with the company name, address, DUNS number or CAGE code, point of contact, and contact telephone number and e-mail. Included also should be a brief description of the company to include the business and socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, Large Business, Educational Organization, etc.). The NAICS codes contemplated for this requirement are 611210 Junior Colleges and (or) 611430 Professional and Management Development Training. Electronic responses are preferred. However mailed responses will be accepted as well. If a mailed response is submitted, offeror must notify the Point of Contact (POC) below by e-mail when the response was mailed and when the expected delivery date is. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM EST on 21 December 2012.
