- SNYOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 4100 East Mississippi Avenue, Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246 intends to solicit sources to enter into one or more firm-fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personnel services necessary to perform courier services by company vehicle(s) and driver(s) to transport lab specimens (in a sealed coolers), office supplies, mail, small medical equipment, clean and soiled laundry, medical supplies for clinical operations, pharmaceutical supplies, prescriptions, and prosthetic supplies for clinical operations to and from the Cheyenne, Wyoming V.A. Medical Center, located at 2360 East Pershing Blvd., in Cheyenne, WY, hereinafter referred to as "CHYVAMC" to and from the Multi Specialty Outpatient Clinics ("MSOCs") located in Greeley, CO, Fort Collins, CO, Sidney, NE, and Rawlins, WY. The Contractor will pick up items referenced above at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center daily and deliver to the MSOCs in the following frequencies: Greeley, Colorado, at 2001 70th Avenue, Suite 200, two times per day, five days per week; Fort Collins, Colorado, at 2509 Research Blvd., two times per day, five days per week; Sidney, Nebraska, at 1116 10th Avenue, only on Wednesdays; and Rawlins, Wyoming, at 1809 E. Daley, on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Pick up and delivery times will be shown in the solicitation document. Services shall be for a base period of one year with four one-year pre-priced option periods for renewal. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about December 17, 2012. Proposals submitted shall be due no later than 4:00 p.m., Mountain Time, on January 3, 2013. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation reference number is VA259-13-Q-0120 - Courier Services for Cheyenne and CBOCs, and should be referenced in all correspondence/inquiries. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at this website and offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to this solicitation at this website prior to the time of responding to the solicitation.
