- Description
- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking expressions of interest for secured parking within a stand-alone enclosed garage type structure that can provide the Government with 70 to 75 self-park type parking spaces (not valet type). Any parking structure offered must be able to accommodate a minimum clearance height of 14 feet in order to allow for the passage of oversized vehicles into the structure, and it must allow for a sufficient turn radius into and out of the garage for towed and extra long type vehicles. Only structures that can provide the Government with sole use of the structure will be considered (no other tenants in the structure) The offered parking must be located within the Borough of Manhattan within the following delineated area: West 59 th Street on the North; 8 th Avenue on the East; West 42 nd Street on the South; and 12 th Avenue on the West. The proposed lease term is for a five (5) year term with the Government having the unilateral right to terminate the lease after the 3 rd year of occupancy. Any parking garage offered must be available for Government use starting no later than February 1, 2013. All responses received by COB on December 14, 2012 will be considered by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government.
