Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to remove materials as required to prepare roof for restoration & repairs at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS) West Haven Campus Buildings 6,7,8, 35, 35A, and 36, Project Numbers 689-10-120 and 689A4-12-214. Work includes design build, general construction, alterations, mechanical and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. The construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The applicable NAICS code is 238160 and the size standard is $14.0 million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will include price related factors as well as technical factor of management approach and past performance. The solicitation package will be available issued on January 15, 2013. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for February 15, 2013 at Noon. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. This solicitation is set aside for verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All SDVOSBs shall be verified in Vet Biz at time of proposal submission. All offerors must ensure registration in SAM information is current and accurate.
