Description
**Information Only** - The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office, NCO17 (10N17/90C), anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for construction services for Nuclear Medicine Relocation located at the Audie L. Murphy, Veteran Administration Medical Center, 7711 Wurzbach, San Antonio Texas. The entire Project is to be completed within 450 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tooling, and supervision to perform the necessary construction services for project work consists of renovation of the existing Nuclear Medicine for additional square footage to accommodate; employee relation, radiation safety, a conference room, multimedia room. The Nuclear Medicine will be approximately 7,674 square feet. The entire project is to be completed within 450 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the provide specifications and drawings, located at the VAMC, 7711 Wurzbach, San Antonio Texas. The specifications and drawings shall be issued with solicitation. Contraction shall comply with applicable VA specifications and drawings as well as all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations and codes and OSHA standards that may impact this requirement. Additionally, they shall comply with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Standards Class and other construction safety requirements as noted in the construction documents. The method of procurement shall be a Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issue date on or before January 7, 2013 with proposed due date of approximately February 12, 2013. This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127).
