- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Stewart, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), to award a single firm fixed price contract to Install Fire Alarm System in Building 418, Fort Stewart, GA. The work covered by this contract shall include all parts, labor and materials necessary to perform the work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 238210. The small business size standard is $14 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Contract performance time is 90 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Information concerning the SDVOSB program can be found at http://www.sba.gov/content/service-disabled-veteran-owned-small-business-concerns-sdvosbc. Solicitation Number W9124M-13-B-0004, will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. A link may be provided through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring ASFI for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about December 17, 2012. This requirement is being procured subject to availability of funds, therefore, all bids must be valid for 120 days from the date of the bid opening. In order to be eligible for award All Bidders MUST: Be registered in the Central Contractors Registration Database and ORCA both of which have been consolidated in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration for both systems may be accomplished at www.sam.gov Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid.
