- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), intends to award a single-source purchase order for the upgrade of the Adaptive Flight Display on the BE-300 ProLine 21. The FAA intends to issue an award to Rockwell Collins (DUNS 0004050352) of Cedar Rapids, IA, for the required services. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on proprietary data. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. The proposed NAICS code for this acquisition is 541512, "computer Systems Design Services", with a size standard of $25.5M. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
