Description
Solicitation Package The DLA Troop Support Subsistence Directorate intends to solicit for a full line food distributor who will act as a contractor responsible for the supply and delivery of semi-perishable and perishable items to our military and federally funded customers in Guam, Marianas Islands. This acquisition will be solicited on a total 100% small business set aside basis. The length of a contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a term of 64 months, with three separate pricing tiers. The first tier shall be for a 28 month period (up to and inclusive of a 4-month ramp up period followed by a 24-month performance period); the second tier shall be for the following 18 month performance period; the third and final tier shall be for an 18 month performance period. The total estimated dollar value including all pricing tiers is $87,500,000. The estimated total maximum dollar amount is $262,500,000 including all pricing tiers and surge. DLA TROOP SUPPORT intends to make one (1) award. The delivery points require indefinite quantities of semi-perishable and perishable items throughout the term of the contract. A more detailed listing of the delivery sites can be found in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by DLA TROOP SUPPORT. The resultant award will be for a fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ), with Economic Price Adjustment contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10%, or $8,750,000.00. Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://adobe.com. Attachments in the solicitation will require Microsoft Office, Word and Excel to open files. The anticipated solicitation issue date is November 15, 2012. A contract will be awarded to a Prime Vendor using Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures.
