- Sources Sought Questionnaire The purpose of this request for information (RFI)/sources sought is in support of market intelligence being conducted by the 772 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market to provide sustainment of equipment under a potential/future Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract or contracts. This RFI/sources sought shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any product or service. It does not guarantee a subsequent solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is completely voluntary and costs associated with this or any follow-up information submission shall not be paid by the government. Sources are sought to procure, package and distribute with the ability to meet the Air Force Just in Time (JIT) requirements. The government's objective is to have a contractor or contractors meet various supply demands of the AF Civil Engineering community by providing tailored, single package supply shipments to various AF locations worldwide. The Air Force is seeking small business capabilities for these requirements. However, large businesses are also encouraged to respond to this RFI. The Air Force is also interested in the contractor or contractors having the capability to package and deliver the items in a single shipment within a 48-72 hour timeframe. The types of items the government would require fall into the following general categories: Civil Engineering - Construction and Carpentry Tools and Equipment Fire Protection -Tools and Equipment Emergency Management - Readiness, Chemical Protection and Detection and Disposal Tools and Equipment Explosive Protection - Detection and Disposal Tools and Equipment Contractors who can meet the desired goals to provide a wide range of items in one, more than one, or all four broad categories listed above are encouraged to describe their capabilities and fill out and return the attached questionnaire within the time period stated below. Please limit capabilities statements to five pages or less.
