- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to award a contract on services to provide preventive maintenance and repair for Grease Traps as specified in solicitation document to be published. Job specifications are clearly established on the Statement of Work and Schedule of Services/Supplies on the solicitation. The DUE DATE for proposals submittals on the Grease Traps solicitation VA248-12-R-2408 is scheduled for December 13, 2012 at 10:00 am. Contract will be awarded to the offeror submitting a proposal determined to be the most advantageous to the Government as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection process; after thorough evaluation of their technical capabilities, management capabilities, past performance, and price, but not limited to. Copy of the solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. The Solicitation document will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) http://www.fbo.gov website. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of proposals, offerors shall follow the instructions contained herein and address each of the factors and/or sub-factors accordingly. Offerors are required to meet ALL solicitation requirements, including terms and conditions, representations and certifications, technical requirements, but not limited to. Failure to meet a requirement may result in an offer being ineligible for award. The contracting officer will review the price proposals in accordance with FAR specifications for commercial items.
