This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 517919. less than p greater than The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below: less than /p greater than less than p greater than Fort Gordon, GA has requirements for engineering, analysis, assessments and experimentation tasks to be completed in support of the Experimentation Division (EXP), Capabilities Development Integration Directorate (CDID). This contract will support the EXP mission to provide Concepts and Live Experimentation support to all TRADOC battle laboratories and proponents; execute battle command and branch proponent experimentation, technology assessments and insertions activities; support Live Experimentation in exercises, sponsored experiments / assessments, and Research & Development to support evaluation of telecommunication and networking technologies. The contractor would provide network systems engineering and experimentation support for the EXP. Experimentation support will include both analytical and systems engineering support in the planning, setup, design, accreditation, execution, data collection, equipment integration, equipment configuration, technical procedure manual development and formal written analysis of a variety of communications experiments. This support will include live experimentation of existing or prototype communications equipment and tactical networks and simulated experimentation of future force communication solutions. less than /p greater than less than p greater than The Government anticipates the tasks and deliverables defined within this sources sought will require ten and a half (10.5) personnel. The personnel shall be broken down to include (1) Program Manager/Technical Lead/ Principal Engineer - ONSITE; (3) Operations Research Analysts; (3.5) Network Engineers; (2) Radio Frequency (RF) Engineers; and (1) Computer Software Application Engineer. less than /p greater than less than p greater than Period of Performance shall consist of a 12 month base year plus 2 option years beginning 1 June 2013. less than /p greater than less than p greater than Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of the requirement. less than /p greater than less than p greater than Responses are due no later than 1300 EST, Wednesday, 28 November 2011, and shall be electronically submitted to Shannon.l.mccauley3.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.
