The HIDAS was developed by BAE Systems (now SELEX) to meet the requirements of the British Army for its Apache Longbows. Subsequently Greece ordered HIDAS integrated electronic warfare suite/defensive systems for their Apache Longbow helicopters through the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program The Government does not intend to fund non-recurring engineering that may be required to provide the requested services.
