- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is planning to solicit for a vendor to provide maintenance, repair, and emergency service of the Casi-Rusco Card Access System, including Software Protection Plan (GE Security Facility Commander 7.5), Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), Paging and Music System, Video Intercom, and Guard Console for Vehicle and Pedestrian gates at the Hines Information Technology Center (ITC) in Hines, Illinois. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center/ VA Milwaukee is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential small business concerns (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, Woman Owned, etc.) with the capability to accomplish this. The Vendor must be able to provide certificates issued by the manufacturer of the equipment to the personnel trained for servicing the GE Security (Casi-Rusco) equipment. The Vendor must be an authorized GE Security (Casi-Rusco) Service Partner, licensed by the State of Illinois to be an alarm contractor, and able to install and make fully functional all GE Security (Casi-Rusco) software and hardware updates. The Vendor's Technicians must be certified to repair GE Facility Commander Enterprise Systems and must have 5 years experience with Alegiant CCTV System. Interested parties shall provide a brief overview of their firm's capabilities and past experience with projects similar in scope to this project. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 10 pages, including all attachments. Each submittal shall also include the following business information: a.DUNS number b.Organization Name c.Organization Address d.Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) e.Business size f.Socio-economic status ( IF SDVOSB or VOSB - provide SDVOSB or VOSB CVE verification) Firms shall identify whether or not they are a small business or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 561621. If another NAICS code may be applicable, please identify the NAICS in your capability statement. All information must be received no later than: December 7th 2012, 2:00 PM, CST.
