Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), 4700 River Road, Riverdale, MD 20737, intends to issue a sole source contract with GPT Properties LLC for general building maintenance services not included in the lease, for a base year and up to four one-year options. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. In order to be assured of consistent building maintenance for all services including those not covered in the lease, the lessor has determined only one company will be allowed to provide the required services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
