Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 has a requirement for Emergency and Rapid Response Services (ERRS) for emergency, time critical and non-time critical removals and remedial activities. Contractors will provide all equipment, personnel and materials necessary for containment, countermeasures, cleanup, mitigation, restoration and disposal of hazardous substances, oil, contaminants or pollutants, as specified in individual task orders. This contract will cover the four states within Region 7 - Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The contract will have a one-year base period with four (4) one year option periods for a total period of performance of 60 months. Option periods will only be exercised if performance is satisfactory, the need for services continues to exist, and funding is available. One contract will be awarded. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. Estimated value of this contract over $50M if all option periods are exercised. The RFP, amendments and other information related to this procurement will be posted on FedBizOpps and the EPA's Office of Acquisition Managmeent website at the following URL: http//www.epa.gov/oam/regions. The Request for Proposal is anticipated to be posted on or about December 6, 2012. Award will be made on a Best Value basis with technical evaluation more important than cost.
