Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for engineering services to continue support in fulfilling the responsibilities for the Cluster Nova submarine Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Maritime Sensors Program Management Office (MSPMO) TEMPALT program. A Firm Fixed Price service contract is anticipated for CLIN 0001 Engineering Services to support TEMPALT program. The contractor shall provide the following technical requirements in accordance with the attached SOW and CDRLs: TEMPALT system ship checks, removals, and maintenance TEMPALT hardware assembly and test Software support Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors are: Technical Capability, and Price. The Technical Capability subfactors are: Technical Approach and Past Performance. Award of this contract will be no later than 23 December 2012 with a contract completion date of 28 February 2012. Acquisition is unrestricted. NAICS code is 541330; size standard is $14.0M. Further details will be released upon issue of RFP # N66604-13-R-0366 on 5 December 2012.
