Description
The Government intends to award a facilities maintenance services Task Order in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at their data center location in St. Louis, MO. The selected NAICS Code for this action is 561210 - Facilities Support Services. Task Order ID08130001 will be issued under the Tiered Infrastructure Maintenance (TIM) Contract to Satellite Services, Inc. (SSI) IDIQ Contract number GS08T10BPD0127. SSI is a small business. The contract provides a wide range of facilities maintenance services defined under 25 modules to support GSA client The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Facilities Management Program Office located in Denver, CO. Services to be provided under the proposed task order include facilities scheduled preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and repair, component repair and replacement, emergency maintenance (optional), systems repairs and replacements (optional), and minor construction (optional). The anticipated noncompetitive award shall be for a one twelve month base period with one twelve month option and one three month option period. The Government anticipates that the base period will commence on or about 1 January 2013. The total period of performance shall not exceed the term of the IDIQ contract under which the task order is awarded. Responsible firms having been previously awarded an IDIQ Contract under the original TIM RFP in March 2010 may submit their interest and capability statement, proposal, or quotation for Government consideration. All submissions must be received not later than 5:00 p.m., EST, Wednesday, 5 December 2012. Any submission received after the specified date and time will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered. Responses must include sufficient information to allow the Government to evaluate the firm's capability relative to contract technical requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement for competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within its discretion. Questions must be submitted not later than 11:00 a.m. EST, Wednesday, 28 November 2012. Questions and responses shall be submitted to Ms. Michelle Nelson at michelle.nelson@gsa.gov with a courtesy copy to Mr. Michael Smith at michaelj.smith@gsa.gov. The procuring Agency for this requirement is the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Region 8 located at the Denver Federal Center (DFC).
