Description

The solicitation ISSUE DATE is December 7, 2012 with a CLOSING DATE of January 7, 2013. Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract for 38 each to be shipped to Tracy, CA. Solicitation is unrestricted for business size. Other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1). Approved sources are MEGGITT SAFETY SYSTEMS, INC, CAGE 25693, P/N 3151-16-500/325-9. Terms and Conditions are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination with delivery being 180 days After Receipt of Order. This item has higher level inspection, configuration control, export control, and critical application. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Automated Best Value System (AVBS) and/or the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) will be used as an evaluation factor. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
