Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Atlanta ARTCC, Hampton, GA, has a requirement for the removal and repair of abandoned electrical wiring. Estimated Price Range: Less the $25,000 NAICS CODE: 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors (small business size standard is $14 million) This requirement is solicited to all qualified, responsive concerns. All offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence as detailed in Section "M" of the solicitation package. To be considered for the award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All documents required by this Request are due no later than 4:00 PM (EST), December 7, 2012. See Section "L" of the solicitation package for complete proposal submission information. Please note that this Request is not to be construed as a contract or commitment of any kind and the FAA will not pay for or be responsible for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this Request. Proposals may be submitted via Email to laura.duffee@faa.gov, the US Postal Service, any other commercial mail courier service or FAX to 770-210-7631. No individual notification of any amendments will be provided. It is the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for any updates. NOTICE: For informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
