- Description
- Marine Corps Systems Command has identified a future requirement to procure up to 300 Lightweight Water Purification System (LWPS). The LWPS is a lightweight, modular, highly transportable, self-contained water purification system consisting of three functional components: 1) Raw Water Feed, 2) Reverse Osmosis, and 3) Product Water Distribution. The LWPS will produce at least 125 gallons of portable (drinking) water per hour from a fresh water source and 75 gallons per hour from a seawater source. We anticipate an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This effort shall be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. The Government anticipates a period of performance shall not exceed 60 months after the date of contract award with one (1) base period with four (4) ordering periods of 12 months each. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within the next 60 days on FedBizOpps.
