Description

This project consists of casting, machining, furnishing, and delivering, to the Illinois Waterway Project Office, eight (8) 16 quote mark dia. nickel steel pintle balls and six (6) 16 quote mark dia. aluminum bronze pintle bushings. Materials for the pintle balls shall be nickel steel ASTM A 487, Grade 13 Modified (Nickel 3.25-3.75) and the pintle bushings shall be aluminum bronze ASTM B 148 Copper Alloy No. C95400 as specified on the plan sheets. The completion date will be 160 days from receipt of contract to delivery of finished parts. This solicitation will be an invitation for bid and issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 332710 will apply with the size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 4 December 2012. The date and time for receipt of bids will be on 3 January 2012, 2:00 PM CST. It is the bidders' responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price. All prospective bidders must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) at www.sam.gov. The solicitation will not be available in paper format, only online. All documents required for the bid, including amendments, shall be hard copy. If you are submitting your bid through the mail, please ensure your bid has been received. No faxed bids will be accepted!
