- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistic Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Park, Georgia anticipates awarding the contract for an initial base period of 1 (one) year with 4 (one-year) options. Issue date for solicitation:November 16, 2012 Due date for offers: December 7, 2012 Start date for performance: January 1, 2013 This requirement is open to all responsive offerors. Note: A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see Section M. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 567120, Janitorial Services Offers are due: Friday, December 7; 4:00 pm (EST). Primary business/office location must be within 75 miles Myrtle Beach Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT); 3242 Tower Street. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29577 A site visit has been scheduled and will be held on the following dates: November 27, 2012; 10:00 AM - Florence, SC -Base Building and Tower November 28, 2012; 9:00 AM - Myrtle Beach SC - Base Building and Tower and North Myrtle Beach SC - Base Building and Tower Prospective bidders are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend the site visit. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
