- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Tammy Bingham, Contracting Officer, email: tammy.bingham@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX3Q0117AX; NOUN: Grip Assembly, Contr; NSN: 1680-01-426-3032; P/N: 406-301-301-105; Quantity: 40 each applicable to BX (OH-58D Army Helicopter Improvement Program) with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 40 each, 318 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 138 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 40 each, 150 DACA. This requirement is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (CAGE: 97499) and Mason Electric Co. (CAGE: 81579) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor used of a second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
