Description
This acquisition is sole-source to Triumph Aerostructures. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part competitively is not owned by the government. SURPLUS MATERIAL IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS ACQUISITION. Valve Assembly, Sequencing, for B-2 Aircraft; AMC code 4P. NSN: 4810-01-372-8297 FW. OEM Code: 80378. PN: DAB3122A025-023. Description: Provides proper timing and sequencing of the EAID locking system. Dimensions are approximately 8.83 inches in length, 3.548 inches in width, 4.67 inches in height, weight is 5.85 pounds. Material is steel, aluminum, and rubber. Quantity: Best Estimated Quantity - 18 each; Range MIN 5/MAX 27. Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB OK. Delivery Schedule: 4 each monthly beginning on or before 31 December 2013. Early delivery is acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. Do not contact the ombudsman to request copies of the solicitation, verify offer due date, or clarify technical requirements. Such inquiries shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable.
