Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 17 Contracting Office, North Texas intends to award a sole source contracting in accordance FAR Part 12 and 15. The North American Industry classification System (NAICS) Code is 339112, and the business size standard is 500 employees. T The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 17 Contracting Office, North Texas intends to award a sole source he purchase order to Philips Medical Systems, N.A. 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, P.O. Box 3003, Bothell, Washington 98041-3003, is the only source authorized to provide the FUS 7307 S5-1 Broadband Phased Array Transducer w/pure wave crystal and FUS 7308 S7-2OMNI Tee Transducer High Frequency. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR FAR Part 6.302 (a) (2). The anticipated award date is 16 November 2012. Please note, that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the maintenance/ service listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 16 November 2012 at 10:00 AM Central Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 16 November 2012 at 10:00 AM Central Standard Time.
