- Project: ED-03-2J DWG: H-1752 The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Upgrade Fire Alarm and Mass Notification system complete in strict accordance with specifications and drawings, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, Remove and dispose the existing Fire Alarm system; install new Fire Alarm and Mass Notification system for buildings 6005 and 6010. This solicitation will be issued as Request for Proposal (RFP), W9124M-13-R-0003, which will result in the award of a single firm-fixed price (FFP) construction contract. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Payment bond will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. The solicitation will be available on or about 12/04/2012 and responses will be due on or about 1/8/2013. The RFP, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. At this time no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $25,000 and $100,000 Offerss received in response to the RFP will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR Part 15.3 - Source Selection. An organized site visit will be announced at a later date. Upon announcement of the organized site visit, attendees should arrive early to allow time to pass through security. You must present a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance to obtain a vehicle pass. System For Award Management (SAM): Prior to submitting a Offer, Offerors must be actively registered in SAM. Registration instructions maybe obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. By submitting an offer, the Offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each Offer.
