- Description
- The objective of this effort is to design and develop an LWIR hyperspectral imager coupled with data processing algorithms for non-contact, passive standoff detection of liquid contaminants on surfaces. Improved SCR (Signal-to-clutter ratio) will be examined using new algorithms and polarization-enhanced hyperspectral methods. An optional LWIR illumination sub-system will be examined for contrast enhancement. The on-the-move approach will be demonstrated using liquid agent simulant particles of relevant sizes.
