Description

This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this source sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The contracting activity is seeking a potential source interested in proposing on an acquisition for repair parts for a hot water heater. It is the government's belief that only Leslie Controls Inc., The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can provide this part and ensure proper form, fit, and function of all components. Technical data/drawings pertaining to parts are not available within the government and are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer ( oem). However other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within three days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts, IE ( SALIENT, PYHSICAL, FUNCTIONAL AND SERVICABILITY CHARACTERISTICTS, OR DATA THAT THE OFFERED PART HAS SATISFACTORY MANUFACURED FOR THE GOVERNMENT OR THE ORGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURE. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify the availability of like parts for the Leslie module number E600L. The anticipated contract type will be for a firm fixed price. Work to be performed under this contract will be with I the North American classification system (naics code as 335228. I f you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which at a minim identifies and all other stated above required information. 1. Point of contact including phone number, physical and e-mail address. 2. Size status and/or SBA certification program of your firm. 3. Cage code for your firm. 4. Positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. 5. Cost estimation.
