STATEMENT OF WORK TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THIS ORDER STANDARD FORM 18 TO BE USED FOR VENDOR QUOTE 1.0 Scope 1.1 This statement of work is for the annual inspections of life rafts (two Elliot and four Viking) located on the NOAA Ship Hi'ialakai. FY13 LIFERAFT INSPECTIONS (SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK) 2.0 References 2.1 AMC Standard Specification AMC-583-1, "General Requirements for Liferaft Inspections" 3.0 Applicable Standards 3.1 All NOAA Ships are ABS classed ships. All relevant equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement must comply with ABS standards. 4.0 Requirements 4.1 Perform an annual service of the four Viking and two Elliot life rafts listed above for NOAA Ship Hi'ialakai, in accordance with reference 2.1. 4.2 Provide all parts, labor, disposal fees, and tools necessary to accomplish this specification item. 4.3 All replacement pyrotechnic signaling devices (including aerial flares and hand held signals) must be within 3 months of the date of manufacture when replaced on the life rafts during servicing. 5.0 Government Furnished Equipment 5.1 None 6.0 Description of Work 6.1 Renew all expired SOLAS equipment pack items. Life rafts without a radar reflector will be affixed with a weather proof label that reads "RADAR REFLECTOR NOT INCLUDED" on the life raft case near the manufacturers plate. 7.0 Additional Work 7.1 Renewal of parts above and beyond those stated shall be negotiated as additional work. Provide a condition report to identify replacement items for quote that may not have been covered or may exceed these requirements. 8.0 Guarantee 8.1 Guarantee workmanship and material against defects for twelve months.
